Who We Are

A Brand Built on Patience and Thread

Wovelle creates handmade crochet bags, home decor, wearable art, and gifting pieces — each one hand-crocheted by skilled artisans using premium cotton and blended yarns. No machines, no mass production, no shortcuts.

We believe fashion and home decor should be made to be cherished for years, not replaced every season. That belief shapes every decision we make, from the yarn we choose to the way we package your order.

Our Story

How Wovelle Began

How It Started

Wovelle began with a single hook, a ball of cotton yarn, and a simple frustration — that beautiful, handmade goods were getting harder to find in a market full of fast, machine-made alternatives.

From Hobby to Handmade Business

What started as small gifts for friends and family slowly grew into a full collection of bags, decor, and wearables — each one still made the same way as the very first piece: by hand, with care, one stitch at a time.

Our Craft Process

From Yarn to Finished Piece

Every Wovelle product moves through the same four hand-led stages, whether it's a hair band or a full-sized tote bag.

Yarn selection
01

Yarn Selection

We choose premium cotton and blended yarns, tested for durability, softness, and colour retention before a single stitch is made.

Hand-Crocheting

Each piece is individually crocheted by an artisan, taking anywhere from a few hours to several days depending on complexity.

Finishing touches being added

Finishing Touches

Hardware, lining, and detailing are added entirely by hand, giving every piece its final structure and polish.

Every product is inspected for stitch consistency and finish before it's packed and shipped to you.

Why Handmade Matters

Made Slowly, On Purpose

Handmade isn't just an aesthetic for us — it's a set of values we build every product around.

Slow Fashion, Made to Last

We make fewer pieces, made better, using materials chosen for durability rather than trend cycles.

Every Piece Is One of a Kind

Small natural variations in stitch and shape are part of the handmade process — not a flaw, but a signature.

Supporting Artisan Skill

Every purchase supports the hands and hours behind it — skilled work that deserves to be seen and valued.

The Hands Behind Every Stitch

"Every bag and every bloom carries the hours I put into it. That's something a machine can never copy."
